Adult Recreational, Ontario, Canada
I love EquiCrown®, they have made a huge difference for my TB Colby. I purchased them because he used to get a windpuff regularly on one of his fetlocks, and at times stock up. Colby hasn’t had it come back since I started using EquiCrown® ACTIVES. I no longer use polo wraps. EquiCrown® are one of the most important products in my tack box. The extra support while we are training is peace of mind for me knowing he has that extra support.

Issue: Equine cellulitis
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVE

My horse, Denali, suffered from a sudden onset of equine cellulitis in his left hind leg. After the initial pain management and antibiotics, the leg still spontaneous swelled every 6 or so weeks. I began using ACTIVE compression bandages for his hind legs in March 2020, and by September, the affected leg had successfully reduced to match the healthy leg in size. Where conventional vet wraps and medication were not effective in treating Denali’s equine lymphangitis, EquiCrown® have proven a viable long-term management solution. Thank you EquiCrown® Canada for working with me to help my horse recover.

My linebacker of an Irish Sport Horse and I are living our best life in his EquiCrown® ACTIVE compression bandages. We are back in the ring ready to compete after his Deep Digital Flexor Tendon (DDFT) injury and rehab. He’s still a bit tubby and out of shape from having 8 months off but he feels great! Thank you so much for this incredible, game-changing product and the time and knowledge you’ve shared with me.

We are proud to use EquiCrown Compression products with our own horses, and our client horses. We have been using these products for several years with incredible results. The ACTIVEs are our go-to for shows, trailering, and stalling. There is no guessing about how tight or loose the bandage is on the leg. Our horses travel a lot, and when they are at shows – the everyday turnout that is part of their home routine is missing. EquiCrown® compression bandages keep their legs tight and fit. We’re thrilled to have the support of EquiCrown® Canada. https://fb.watch/k1Dctw5fbK/

My veterinarian recommended EquiCrown® for my 3-year-old Oldenburg “Finn” who injured his hind left leg and was put on stall rest. The ACTIVE compression bandage provided both support and reduced the swelling, and really assisted in Finn’s recovery. Once my veterinarian cleared Finn to begin work, I continued to use the compression bandage as recommended by EquiCrown® Canada.

Issue: Preventing further damage in hind legs
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

I found out about EquiCrown compression wraps from someone who had attended a seminar run by EquiCrown® Canada. My horse is sound but has some roughed up fibers at the suspensory branches in her hind legs, and as a dressage rider, I worry about preventing further damage. I was blown away by the service I received! Not only was this office extremely knowledge about equine biomechanics, but also compassionate and incredibly generous with the time spent guiding me on measuring and proper use of the ACTIVES. My horse has a renewed energy in her gaits, and she really seems to like the feeling that the wraps provide. I can't recommend this company highly enough for their innovative and well-researched products and excellent service!

The first day of using the ACTIVES went great! My horse is tolerating well and is visibly more comfortable. I am so relieved to find this product and get your advice on style and how to use it. There is absolutely no slippage or rolling down like the standing wraps, and his legs are staying cool! Thank you EquiCrown™ Canada for your guidance and support to get my horse back to riding.

Tango is our movie star but has some leg issues that needed to be addressed – for example, stocking up from needing to stand in position for retake, retake, retake of movie segments. Tango is also a lesson horse and we’re in a very hot climate area. We fit Tango with EquiCrown™ ACTIVES and this was a game changer. Legs are tight and ready for his role as a movie star or teaching a child to ride. Thank you EquiCrown™ Canada.

Whitney Taylor

Issue: Post competition leg care
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

We often work off the horse trailer for showing, which makes post competition leg care difficult. After struggling with mobile ice boot solutions, I started using EquiCrown™ ACTIVES two years ago. They are the perfect solution for pre and post competition - easy to apply and the results are tighter legs and happier horses than with ice boots. Horses stamp when they’re not loving the feel of ice boots and we must remove them. We’ve never gotten this reaction with our EquiCrown ACTIVES -the horses are happy to munch their hay without any issue.

Robbie Davis

Location: New York, US
Issue: Thoroughbred racing support
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

We have used the ACTIVE compression bandages on our own thoroughbred Dublin Green. He breezed extremely well in them. It felt like it built his confidence with the extra support. We put on all legs for one hour before he raced at the Aqueduct racetrack, took off for the race, and he won that race by 8 lengths. This is a horse that had been a stand at the gate personality! He is a very large thoroughbred and stands 17.3 hands and weight 1250 lbs. We have found EquiCrown™ the very best support and circulation bandage that money can buy. Also, the FIT style works well instead of constantly sweating the leg. I was doubtful at first of the product – but just the safety of not having a bandage come off and cause the horse to trip and fall on a rider is comfort worth the investment. EquiCrown Canada were incredible in their consulting advice for measuring and best practices. Now I am a firm believer in this product.

Sandy Erker Teppan

Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta Canada
Issue: Deep Digital Flexor Tendon (DDFT) injury recovery
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

One of our horses suffered an injury to its Deep Digital Flexor Tendon (DDFT) by slipping on ice. The attending veterinarian recommended contacting EquiCrown™ Canada for their recommendation on the style of compression to be used for support and to bring down the swelling. Based on measurements and photo assessment of the leg, ACTIVES were recommended on a 23/7 for one month, one hour off to brush and massage the leg, and wash and dry the compression bandage. In the period of one month – they leg looked perfect BUT EquiCrown™ Canada’s technical specialist advised this injury required time and patience. We are thrilled with the outcome after a year of slowly getting back into work. Thank you EquiCrown™ Canada for the best product ever and your advice.

Issue: Leg care and various issues
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

I can’t say enough about EquiCrown compression bandages and their importance in the care of my Irish Sport Horse, Buffy. Apart from maintaining tight legs ready for lessons and competition, I have used these for wind puffs, tendon injuries, and skin irritations. My EquiCrown™ are the most important tool in my tack box to keep Buffy’s legs in top condition. The ACTIVES and FITS are easy to apply – no guessing on how tight or loose these fit on the leg. The compression pressure is always the same, preventing bandage bows or worse that can occur with multiple people working on your horse. My veterinarian always comments on how EquiCrown™ are a practical, effective tool to keep a horse’s legs in good condition. EquiCrown™ Canada provide great service and consulting so that new users become comfortable in use and best practices.

Glenn Stewart

Location: Baldonnel, BC, Canada
Issue: Long-distance travel
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

I highly recommend the use of EquiCrown™ compression bandages for all levels of horsemanship. I used EquiCrown™ ACTIVES in my 4,000 km road trip across North America from northern British Columbia to Lexington, Kentucky to compete in the 2022 Road to the Horse. My horses came off the trailer in Kentucky with fresh legs and a spring in their step! Standing bandages build up heat and are bulky and uncomfortable for horses. The second skin fit of EquiCrown to the horse’s legs make these highly effective, easy to apply, better for the horse. This is a game-changer to better look after your horse’s legs from maintenance and everyday care to when you need to rehab an injury. Thank you EquiCrown™ Canada for your strong support and advice how to best use a great product.

April Dawn Ray

Issue: Wind puffs in jumping career
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

From my first experience with EquiCrown™Canada to using both the ACTIVES and FITS on my own horse – I was sold on the ease to apply, the incredible results on my horse’s legs, and that there was support by email or phone. My horse exhibited wind puffs early into her jumping career. I knew this was something that needed to be dealt with immediately if the horse was to remain in competition. I contacted EquiCrown™ Canada, received the advice on sizing and use, and put this into practice. That was 8 years ago, and her legs continue to be tight and fit for competition and schooling. Best decision I ever made for my horse.

I am so happy that I decided to attend a clinic presented by EquiCrown™ Canada in Wellington Florida! One week after my return home, my horse suffered a traumatic DDFT injury. Thanks to what I learned at the clinic; I knew exactly what to order. Within 5 days, the EquiCrown ACTIVE brought down the swelling and my horse was able to make a full recovery.

Persephone Greco-Otto, DVM

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Issue: Dressage work
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES

I purchased EquiCrown™ ACTIVES to use on my Warmblood mare for our dressage work. The EquiCrown™ wraps fit the contours of the leg perfectly and sit snuggly. The range of sizes allows for perfect width/height combinations. The zipper makes application easy and keeps pressure consistent. The wraps take about the same amount of time and effort to take on and remove as boots, and much less time than polos. I love that, unlike polos, I know the pressure is consistent across all legs and the same every time. They fit comfortably and don’t impeach movement or range of motion during lateral work. After removal, the leg is tight and cool. I am very impressed with these wraps and feel confident knowing that I am supporting my horse’s lower legs effectively and safely.

"We use the EquiCrown™ ACTIVE wraps at Engineered Equine Performance regularly. They are so useful in all stages of the rehab process. We love that they are so versatile, easy to put on and off (my whole staff can do them), and they are breathable to help maintain cooler leg temperatures especially here in the hot south. These have been a game changer for us between improvements in the horses’ injuries, time management with not having to wrap multiple times a day, and less reinjuries when we introduce a horse to under saddle work or start medical paddock turnout. We use and recommend these for all our lower leg rehabs."

Issue: Stress on legs as 5* show jumpers
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES & FITS

We equipped both Carollo and Cosmona with EquiCrown ACTIVES and FITS early in their careers because of the extreme stress their legs incur as 5* show jumpers. Travel, training, stalling at FEI competitions, heat and climate all influence our horses’ health and it shows up in their legs. By using EquiCrown™ on a systematic and regular basis, both horses continue to compete internationally and put our riders on the podium. The advice and support by EquiCrown™ Canada is second to none.

Lisa Carlsen

Issue: Leg condition
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES & FITS

EquiCrown ACTIVES and FITS are the go-to in our barn to ensure our horses’ legs are in top condition. I like the fact that the compression is predetermined, accurate, and the same for every application. This is very important in a busy barn or at an event when “many hands make work light” – great expression but dangerous when it comes to wrapping horse legs. Great product! Thank you EquiCrown™ Canada for personally addressing our horses.

Kathy LeBlanc

Issue: Snake bite, cellulitis
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES & FITS

Karma stood in our pasture and was obviously in distress. A vet was called – by this time Karma had a high fever, and unable to bear weight on her right hind. The diagnosis was “snake bite.” For months she endured episodes of repeat cellulitis, antibiotics, and wrapping. This all ended when our veterinarian returned from a conference where EquiCrown™ Canada made a presentation. We have successfully controlled this chronic condition with EquiCrown™ ACTIVES and FITS.

Issue: SDFT injury in a broodmare
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES & FITS

Our veterinarians from McKee-Pownall referred us to EquiCrown™ Canada for a solution for one of our broodmares which suffered a SDFT injury. We began using the EquiCrown FIT as step one, and then graduated to using ACTIVES. We equipped both legs for symmetry, and the speed of recovery is faster than we have seen in similar situations. Thank you to our vet and to EquiCrown™ Canada.

Issue: Lymphangitis rehabilitation
Used: EquiCrown® ACTIVES & FITS

After an incomplete veterinary-prescribed treatment plan for two severe episodes of lymphangitis, and no rehabilitation, we contacted EquiCrown™ Canada and were coached through a pressure therapy rehabilitation using the FIT and ACTIVE bandages. Our large Percheron suffered with a fluid filled leg that resembled a stove pipe. The EquiCrown™ reduced the hock diameter by 6 inches and the fetlock diameter by 4 inches. The leg is now just a smidge larger than the unaffected leg.

I love using EquiCrown™ for all my horses, but especially for my old mare! She’s 24 years old and has arthritis, so that, combined with living in a stall at night, she doesn’t move as much as she should. EquiCrown™ keeps her from stocking up and keeps her legs tight and feeling her best!

Great products that help support your horse’s leg health. I use the FITs to prevent stocking up from night in the stalls and to support my older horse’s previous injury. I also love to use the ACTIVES for flat work because they provide support without overheating the legs due to their breathable design. Great support and technical advice from EquiCrown® Canada.

I don’t know another company that makes compression bandages for horses as well as EquiCrown. Compression has been used for many years with humans and it’s relatively new to horses but a positive development in leg care. We use both ACTIVES and FITS in our daily care. The bandages provide the correct amount of pressure, and the open weave ensures the leg stays cool. Most recently, we used ACTIVES as an important part of rehabbing a tendon injury in my horse, Queensland. EquiCrown is a vital part of my horse program, and EquiCrown® Canada have provided tremendous support.

My horse, Expo, developed a severe case of cellulitis, and for a long time, we did not think he would survive let alone be sound. However, the residual swelling in his hind leg caused him to compensate, and that resulted in a check ligament injury to his front legs. We began with silver FITS to control the edema in his hind legs, and ACTIVES for the front legs. The FITS trimmed his hind legs down by two sizes over 3 months, and the ACTIVES provided support for his front legs. In the period of 6 months, EXPO recovery is amazing. His legs look great, and we are back to showing.

EquiCrown® compression bandages are a staple in our barn. All the horses are equipped from our broodmares to our racehorses. Horses like Samraat are very picky about what they have on their legs. The hate quilts and polos because of the heat and bulk. Running a large barn means there are many people who are helping with the horses. EquiCrown® reduces the guessing and possible injuries from less experienced grooms when it comes to wrapping legs. And this way we are proactive in keeping our horses’ legs in perfect shape. Thank you EquiCrown® Canada for your advice.

We are a busy thoroughbred breeding and foaling farm, and EquiCrown® compression bandages have become a useful tool in managing leg conditions of our mares, stallions, and even our foals. The FITS are great for mares about to foal – often their legs are stocked up and these eliminate the fluid, and the mare is visibly more comfortable. The ACTIVES have helped our stallions during breeding season when their hind legs can become swollen and tender. And we’ve had occasions when a foal required support from EquiCrown® for their legs in the early days. Good product! Great service by EquiCrown® Canada.

The EquiCrown™ products have proved invaluable in the reduction and maintenance of equine legs in the case of lymphangitis, fibrotic and stocked up legs. I have used Equicrown™ Compression wraps for many years in my barn from injury prevention, rehabilitation, trailering, and everyday training. I first used compression wraps for my 14-year-old FEI Junior/Young Rider horse Winnie Puuh who had chronic Windpuffs in all four legs. After one short month of using the FITS and the ACTIVES, Winnie went down a whole size, no more windpuffs, and his legs stayed so much tighter even when the wraps were not used every day. Four years later EquiCrown™ compression wraps continue to keep Winnie’s legs in great condition! Thank you EquiCrown™ Canada for your support!

We are fans of the EquiCrown™ compression wraps. Don Principe is a 19-year-old stallion that has been competing at Grand Prix dressage since the age of 9. He has had eight riders and been through a lot of wear throughout those years. He competed on Nation's Cup team winning a silver medal. He is a Brentina (U 25) National Champion. “Prince" also does double duty as a breeding stallion. As a result, he has had some issues with windpuffs. We started using the EquiCrown™ products and saw an immediate improvement in his windpuffs. They reduced in size and increased his comfort. We would recommend them to anyone. We’d like to thank EquiCrown™ Canada for their technical advice in to keep Don Principe’s legs in top form.

I have been using the EquiCrown bandages on my American Saddlebred horse, Hallie for over 3 years. I purchased Hallie after she sustained a traumatic injury to her hind right leg that ended in chronic lymphangitis and ended her show career. Managing her condition was, at first, a challenge. I purchased EquiCrown™ for all four legs (the lymph system does not work in isolation) and saw immediate improvement. I’ve been able to manage her lymphangitis without drug intervention thanks to EquiCrown Compression Bandages!

I purchased my EquiCrown™ compression wraps just over a year ago. Most of my splint boots invariably succumb to 'Velcro fatigue’. After having used these wraps virtually daily, they continue to maintain their shape and support like the day I bought them. The zipper can be a challenge to do up, but it shows no wear so far. I do cover them with an old set of splint boots when on the trail to protect against snags, but that has not been a problem in the arena. A good product.

When I was asked by EquiCrown™ Canada to introduce the product to my clients – I jumped at the chance. The feedback from clients was very positive with the most common comment being there is less fluid seen in joints. I am excited to keep providing my clients with the opportunity to use this excellent product. For myself as a therapist, the unique thing about this product is the ability to have them truly fit the horse's leg, and ensure the horse is receiving the correct pressure on the leg to stimulate the lymphatic system and reduce pooling fluid in the lower limb. Great product and I am happy to recommend it to my clients.

My main trick riding mare, Aurora, and I travel a lot of miles together across Canada and the United States. I love how the EquiCrown™ wraps apply even uniform pressure all over the surface of her legs, improve circulation, and don't trap heat. When I unload her off the trailer her legs are cool, dry, and tight. They provide great support while I'm hauling or performing on her. I like being able to cold hose right over the wraps for the bonus of cold and compression together.

As an owner of a horse who stocks up pretty frequently and is prone to wind puffs, I was drawn to EquiCrown™ as an easy and effective way to keep legs tight. Once I started using the wraps, I was excited to learn that they have many more benefits to offer: the uniform compression that these wraps provide works to warm up the legs with increased blood flow prior to exercise. They also help to reduce the pooling of fluid post-exercise, keeping the legs more comfortable and healthier. I especially love how the wraps are durable enough to put on my horse while she is turned out and wash easily in the laundry machine. Using EquiCrown™ wraps has upped my level of care for my equine partner and is an important component of our success!

Issue: Wind gall
Used: EquiCrown® Compression Bandages

I am a recently retired small animal ER and critical care veterinarian. I have had horses most of my life and am an adult amateur dressage competitor and a Beginner Novice event rider. My Irish Sport horse Sterling developed a wind gall of his right fetlock. It never caused lameness but was very slowly getting progressively larger. Sterling’s DVM and I discussed draining it, and injecting it, but after giving it some thought I decided to do nothing. As time passed, the swelling was getting larger. I was concerned that it was eventually going to put too much pressure on the annular ligament resulting in lameness. Research led me to EquiCrown™. I was very impressed with the EquiCrown product but thought for sure my horse would destroy it. On the contrary, horses tolerate the EquiCrown™ very well. The quality of the product is excellent and the technical support from EquiCrown™ Canada exceeded all expectations.

I am currently chasing scores to earn a spot on the US Paralympic team with my Hanoverian gelding, Deucalion. Duke is from Germany, and it was not a straight path to success. Shortly after arriving, he had a fluke accident, resulting in a hind leg injury. I set out on a mission to bring him back to top sport soundness and now my biggest focus is on leg health and prevention of other injuries. EquiCrown® compression bandages are one of the most important tools we use. The anatomical fit provides compression while maintaining full range of motion, and the second skin fit encourages increased circulation during turnout, stalling or travelling. They are so breathable that his legs are cool even in the heat of Florida summer. I can honestly say his legs have never been tighter. Competing at the international para level means we’re on the road or in the air to get to Paris 2004. EquiCrown® Canada’s support is helping us earn a spot on the US Paralympic team.

My experience with EquiCrown® Canada and their guidance for choosing the correct style and advising a usage schedule is second to none. My horse required both compression and support for hind legs that were dropping at the fetlock and had suspensory issues. Jaydan Stettner

Location: Regina, SK Canada
Issue: Show recovery, wind puffs
Used: EquiCrown® Compression Bandages

I use my EquiCrown™ bandages whenever I take my horses to a show. The bandages keep all my horse's legs tight and cool while they relax after a long day of showing. They are so easy to put on they take a fraction of the time to do traditional bandages. I especially like the EquiCrown™ for my one mare who has wind puffs. The bandages keep her windpuffs to a minimum and help with any inflammation. I love the EquiCrown™bandages and will continue to use them for all my horses!

Issue: Edema on front leg above the knee
Used: EquiCrown® Compression Bandages

My horse has an edema on the front leg above the knee, I purchased Equi Crown compression bandages from Strathcona Ventures, within 2 months I noticed a significant loss of fluid in the edema. I also noticed that when I exercised her with them on, she was lighter on the front end and the collection work was much more fluid. I have purchased another set for my jumper. Thanks again for your support and help!

Issue: Post-operative bandaging
Used: EquiCrown® FITS

We used EquiCrown FIT silver in a post-operative bandaging situation and found it to be very effective. The horse suffered a perforation into the frog and ensuing infection into the pastern and lower leg. The offending object was removed through the frog and arthroscopic entry points in the pastern and fetlock were used to drain fluid. The ports were covered with surgical pads and the FIT applied over the leg to control the edema build up from surgery. We are very pleased with the results, specifically that the FIT kept the leg cool with no heat build up under the compression bandage. From a cost analysis, this was a less costly alternative for the owner and easier for them on a daily bandage change. It also permitted the horse to have athletic compression support during their re-entry into work.

Two years after a major bought of Cellulitis/Lymphangitis, Rhapsody’s right hind leg measurements were greater than the XL size in the EquiCrown™ FIT wrap. EquiCrown™ Canada guided us with expert knowledge and understanding through the process from a proper fit to an appropriate schedule and on to advancement to smaller sizes. In just two months, Rhapsody was wearing a size SMALL. The EquiCrown™ FIT is a miracle product. Not only have results been amazing, but Rhapsody also loves wearing it because of the comfort and support it brings.

Pat Coulter

Location: Manning, Alberta, Canada
Issue: Chest wound and swelling in legs
Used: EquiCrown® FITS

A horse with a chest wound that stretched back to the carpal was on stall rest at my barn. He experienced swelling throughout almost his entire body due to the wound and inactivity. We applied EquiCrown™ FITS to all four of his legs. Later that day the swelling had gone down significantly, and he was moving around his stall again. What we thought would be a 3-month recovery period turned into a 1-month recovery period. Highly recommend!

Julie Nadeau, DVM

Location: Ontario
Issue: Suspensory injury, heat build-up
Used: EquiCrown® FITS

My horse started off with a suspensory injury requiring stall rest and wrapping overnight. I was very concerned about the heat build-up under the traditional wrapping. Sure enough, Tookie developed a peripheral lesion to the deep digital flexor tendon. I found EquiCrown™ Canada online and was happy with their knowledge of horse legs and conditions. I ordered a set of FITS and we’ve never looked back.

The FITS are my favorite item in my tack box when Duke is stalled overnight and even between events! Thank you EquiCrown™ Canada!

Issue: Chronic distal limb edema/lymphedema

Distal limb compression wraps (EquiCrown FITS were used for the study) … offer the clinician an avenue through which distal to proximal pressure gradients can be maintained based on the contour of an individual horse’s limb. When combined with contrast therapy, appropriate exercise, retrograde massage, and titrated, supervised application have resulted in significant clinical improvements of chronic distal limb edema/lymphedema based on serial, circumferential limb measurements.” - IN-DEPTH: Frontiers in Athletic Rehabilitation, 2022. Jules Bramucci

Location: St. Leonards, Australia
Issue: Minor wounds, circulation, drainage
Used: EquiCrown® FITS

I love them, so quick and easy to apply, love that I can hose them off with while still on the horse’s legs, and very impressed with how cool the legs stay, even on the hottest of Australian days. I have found them a very handy tool in treating minor wounds which could potentially have required penicillin. They make wound dressing so easy whilst providing great circulation and lymphatic drainage. And, as my horses live out, I can safely leave them on without worrying about bandages unraveling or slipping. I highly recommend this product.

We have been using the EquiCrown® compression bandages since 2015. These are quick to apply, and the open weave knit allows the horses' legs to breathe in the humid Florida climate. They are the perfect solution for the sensitive modern horse; many of whom dislike the traditional stable bandages. We highly recommend contacting EquiCrown® Canada for a personal consultation.

Samson, my 21-year-old Hanoverian TB gelding experienced multiple episodes of lymphangitis with cellulitis complications. He had more and more difficulty tolerating the antibiotics and each time, the infection was more severe. My veterinarian recommended EquiCrown™ Silver FITS to control the condition. My 26-year-old thoroughbred mare, Devil, had an impressive career as a hunter jumper, but several years ago she was attacked by a wild animal and suffered deep cuts to her left hind leg. The injury required stitches and stall rest. The complication of the injury was repeated episodes of lymphangitis with cellulitis complications. Laura Ross, DVM

Location: Nova Scotia, Canada
Issue: Traumatic wound on fetlock joint
Used: EquiCrown® Silver FITS

My yearling Welsh pony filly Princess Sparkle suffered a large traumatic wound on the right fetlock joint because of “overreach”. The wound would close and then break open along the scar line. I began using EquiCrown silver FITS and there was an immediate improvement in the contracture of the scar tissue and her mobility in the boots is fantastic. The edema and heat are gone from the leg, and she can function like a normal 2-year pony.

Our horse, Sonny developed Lymphangitis complete with an abscess in the hock. The Equicrown™ silver FITS used 24/7 reduced her hock and lower leg from looking like a tree stump to some semblance of a horse leg. In two weeks, Sonny went from a large to x-small. Incredible!

Katherine Papp, DVM

Location: Ocala, Florida US
Issue: Hunter/jumpers and Thoroughbred racehorses
Used: EquiCrown® Compression Bandages

I practice mostly on hunter/jumpers as well as Thoroughbred racehorses and have been doing so over the past 10 years but involved with them even longer. I have found many useful applications and situations for EquiCrown™ products for my clients and my own horses. Normal bandages and boots have been shown to allow heat build-up within tendons and ligaments, which has been proven to be a significant contributor to their damage and injury. The EquiCrown™ products, not only provide custom support focusing on the area most in need, but they also additionally allow heat to dissipate in the manner that it naturally should. The compression bandages also allow for the proper amount of circulation necessary to help in the process of clearing excess inflammation and aiding incoming oxygenated blood flow. Their unique design allows them to be useful in many situations beyond just the everyday use for support and protection including the critical period of rehabbing from injury. Appreciate the consulting and support from EquiCrown™ Canada!

Raney Fichtner

Location: California, US
Issue: Wind puff reduction
Used: EquiCrown® Compression Bandages

The EquiCrown™ compression wraps have been wonderful. They have reduced Josie’s wind puff by 50%. I don't put them on her every night anymore but rather when she has a hard ride or a stopping lesson. She is comfortable wearing them and I think she likes the way they feel, she will stand still anywhere haltered or not to have them put on. As a reining horse, she is asked to do a lot of hard maneuvers and I thrilled to be able to give her the additional support when I ask that extra of her. I appreciate all the time EquiCrown™ Canada spent making sure I received the correct size and a product I am more than happy with. I am your biggest advocate here on the west coast! Thank you so much!

I can’t say enough good things about EquiCrown® wraps@ They’re simply amazing! They’re easy to use and foolproof, providing perfect compression every time. I love that I never have to worry about wrapping too tight or too loose, which gives me peace of mind. Moreover, they’re breathable, so my horses don’t get overheated, but still get all the compression benefits they need. EquiCrown wraps don’t budge or slide, which is fantastic. I’ve seen great success on both of my horses when they’ve had injuries, and I won’t use anything else now. I highly recommend EquiCrown wraps to anyone looking for top-notch, reliable support for their horses.
